Nintendo DS Reviews
Talk about the little engine that could! Creative content and innovation ultimately prevail over short lived flash and sizzle.
The Sony PSP came out like a rabid tiger thrashing around the handheld marketplace arena but very quickly ran out of steam and sits exhausted in the corner. I'm sorry, did you say you wanted $50.00 for a portable version of Need For Speed Underground 2? Kiss my ass Sony.

The Sony fan boys kept telling me that my $250.00 PS1 portable MP3 player would be worth the investiment with Death Jr. coming out. Well, I bought Death Jr. and it's... okay. It's as good as any Dreamcast platformer, but I expect more. Jump/Slash/collect shit - yeah, I've played this before. Yeah, yeah, Death Jr. is a cute little dark character. Sony... $40.00 - kiss my ass.

Anyway, back to the big N and the DS... I have been playing the F!ing brilliant Advance Wars for a week now and am in heaven. Yes, it's just like Nectaris/Military Madness my favorite NEC game of all time. The two screens are well utilized. The ridiculous slang is entertaining... I mean stoopid entertaining foo! Great presentation, great multi-player. Kick ass all the way around. I give it 5 overpriced eBay Mario e3 stylus' (stili?) out of 5!!!!
I also received my import of Electroplankton. This reminds me of the old Sega days when weird game/toy things were given a fair chance. This game is fun. The content is somewhat brief but easy enough to get into. My 3 year old had as much fun as I did with this.
Speaking of fun... Nintendogs is not bad either. You'll feel like a royal Nintendork talking to your virtual pup, but hey don't you remember playing with your Seaman too? (Hush, that joke is too pre-dick-table dude). My 7 year old and 3 year old both love this game. We have 2 of the carts so far. Cool idea. The animations are great.
